Provincial Government (Pemprov) of DKI Jakarta and Pemprov Yogyakarta considered of cooperation in nusantara (archipelago) culture tourism promotion with information technology basis.

It was agreed after meeting between Acting Governor of DKI Jakarta, Sumarsono with Sri Sultan Hamengkubuwono X in Keraton Yogyakarta.
"We talked about development of nusantara culture tourism promotion between Jakarta, Yogyakarta, and Bali. The promotion will be developed through IT," said Sumarsono in Keraton Yogyakarta, Saturday night (1/14).
City-Yogyakarta to Discuss Archipelago Tourism PackageSumarsono added that DKI Jakarta's Jakarta Smart City can be used as an event to promote tourism. While, Yogyakarta has Government Cyber Province. Both could learn each other to its enhancement.
"We have power in Smart City, and they have Government Cyber Province. So each regional could learn the dynamics difference and support each other," he added.
But, he continued, the cooperation must be discussed further and planned next meeting by Regional Units (SKPD) between those two provinces, but the emphasized of the meeting was hospitality.
